About Ama Dablam Mountain

Ama Dablam alternatively known as Amai Dablang; is a small snowcapped and great challenged peak of 6812 meters / 22349 feet, (some of saying it is 6852 meters too but Officially height of this peak is 6812 meters only verified by Nepalese Government) considered the most beautiful mountain in Everest region Himalayas range of eastern Nepal. Ama Dablam means "Mother's necklace"; the long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother (Ama) protecting her child, and the hanging glacier thought of as the Dablam, the traditional double-pendant containing pictures of the gods, worn by Sherpa women. For several days, Ama Dablam dominates the eastern sky for anyone trekking to Mount Everest base camp. Ama Dablam was first climbed on 13th of March, 1961 by Mike Gill (NZ), Barry Bishop (USA), Michael Gill, Mike Ward (UK) and Wally Romanes (NZ) via the Southwest Ridge. Climbing Team was led by Sir Edmund Hillary. They were well-acclimated to altitude, having wintered over at 5800 meters near the base of the peak as part of the Silver Hut Scientific Expedition.

"Amazing Ama Dablam into the Mount Everest region for Excitement climbing Adventure. It is technical and needs more practice. I used to dream to see this peak from the top. Sherpa Pasang arranged everything and helped me a lot. Pasang did not let me feel tired and boring. But this time I am sorry Amadablam, Satisfaction is after my Health. Coming back soon. I like to make a strong recommendation. you guys."

We organized an Adventure trip to Ama Dablam with you guys. after the flights were keeping delayed to Lukla for 3 days (cancelled for 5 days we heard) we decided to sit down and talk about next plan by car. Jangbu basically took care of us in the best way possible, quickly rearranged everything very last minute (permits, 4 wheeler, guide etc) and we ended up with a new guide Dorjie on the way to Jiri an extended Everest Base Camp traditional trek before our expedition. It was stunning and absolutely amazing road to Phaplo. We enjoyed the trip with the foot strips of Sherpas and Yaks. Thank you so much for the better option! Because of acclimatization well, our expedition success! Hurray.
